HOMEOWNER CHARGED IN TRIPLE HOMICIDE WITH STABBING TENANTS AND GIRLFRIEND TO DEATH : Faces Life in Prison Without Possibility of Parole
News24USA.Com Desk, New York : Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced that David Daniel was charged 15 November with murder in the stabbing deaths of two tenants and his girlfriend inside his St. Albans home. After the attack, Daniel turned himself in to police.
District Attorney Katz said: “The bloody crime scene was the result of extraordinary brutality. In court,
what we will show is that the defendant viciously stabbed his defenseless victims to death.”
Daniel, 54, of Milburn Street, St. Albans, was arraigned on a criminal court complaint charging him with three counts of murder in the first and second degrees and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
If convicted, Daniel faces a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. Judge Scott Dunn
ordered him to return to court on November 17.
According to the charges:
On Tuesday, November 14, at approximately 7:00 am, Daniel turned himself in at the 113th Precinct.
At approximately 7:16 a.m., officers from the 113th precinct went to 122-39 Milburn Avenue in St. Albans.
In the basement, they found a man and a woman, Daniels’ tenants, laying on the floor. Each had sustained multiple stab wounds. In a second-floor bedroom, officers found a woman, Daniels’ girlfriend, laying on a bed. She also had sustained multiple stab wounds.
The three victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
