U.S. Rep. Grace Meng Issues Statement on Eid al-Adha

“It is an honor to send my warmest wishes for a peaceful and joyous Eid al-Adha to all who observe the holiday in Queens and around the world.
I am proud to have joined Rep. André Carson in introducing the Eid Days Act, a bill that would make Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr federal holidays all across the nation. Passing this legislation is long overdue and I will continue pushing the measure through Congress until it becomes the law of the land for the millions who celebrate throughout our country.
